Starts in middle school. All six subjects, now grades 6–12.
Snap a homework problem for step-by-step help. Then a feed makes a quick starting estimate and keeps adjusting as your student works. Plans start at $19.95 a month after the free trial.

The problem
How it works
A photo, a paste, or just type it. In seconds they get a step-by-step that explains the why, not just the answer, then hands it back so it actually sticks.
A quick starting estimate samples current, earlier, and more advanced skills. The plan keeps adjusting as the student practices, so one short placement does not become a permanent label.
Short, adaptive lessons that feel familiar, plus an AI tutor on call. The dashboard shows what they practiced, how they answered, and what needs more work.
What it does
SmartScroll connects all four in one learning loop.
A quick placement samples the declared grade and nearby prerequisites, then the plan keeps adjusting from real practice.

Safe by design
We are not an attention business. Your student is the customer, never the product.
There is no social network here. No messaging, no comments from anyone but the tutor.
Each day has a visible learning target and a natural stopping point. Students who want more can choose another focused run.
See their progress any time, and read exactly how we handle data in our privacy policy.
Our promise
The feed is ranked by what your student needs to master next, not by whatever keeps them scrolling. There is no engagement-maximizing algorithm here.
A daily goal and natural stopping points tell students when the day's learning is done. Continuing is an explicit choice, not infinite autoplay.
Cancel any paid plan in two taps, with no dark patterns and no surprise renewals.

Questions parents ask
No ads, no data selling, no strangers, and no messaging with anyone but the tutor. We collect as little as possible and you can read exactly how in our privacy policy. It is built to respect a young learner, not to hook them.
SmartScroll is centered on the middle-school years, roughly grades 6 to 8 (ages 11 to 14), and includes learning and practice across Math, Science, History, English, Spanish (reading & writing), and personal Finance for grades 6–12. Math includes material through Precalculus (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Precalculus). Coverage varies by subject and skill while our educator review continues.
The rewards sit around a real learning loop: worked examples, retrieval practice, spaced review, guided questions, and explaining ideas in the student's own words. The dashboard reports demonstrated practice and retention checks, not a guaranteed grade or a clinical score.
No. The demo needs no account or card and runs right in the browser. It includes a day of the feed, one homework solve, tutor messages, and a sample tutoring session.
Any of them. It works in any modern browser, and you can add it to the home screen so it opens like a normal app.
SmartScroll is designed to continue past an answer: it explains the method, asks the student to try the thinking, and routes related practice into their learning plan. That structure supports learning, but it does not guarantee understanding from one solve.
Yes. Each child gets their own profile, with separate progress, path, and streak. If they share one device, a built-in “Who’s learning” switcher moves between them, so their learning never mixes, and each child links to your account. The Full Program (Best) covers up to 3 students on one account; the app and the Tutoring Program plans are for one student. Your family page lists every linked student in one place.
