He built Lumi for a simple parent fear: a teen opens ChatGPT, gets the finished answer, and skips the thinking. Lumi is the other path. It guides. It does not hand over the answer. The parent owns the account. Students have no email, password, or login of their own. After practice, parents see a clear session report (skill, time on task, exit result), not a private chat log.

Gabriel's work is to make that kind of tutoring feel premium and human, so families of grades 6-12 can trust AI help that still belongs to the student.
